The flip over Fulani braids hairstyle isn’t complicated. It is a mix of knotless braids and cornrows.

Flip-over Fulani braids hairstyles usually consist of knotless box braids, a weave or bohemian braids at the back (about 2/3 of the head), freestyle, crisscrossing or straight cornrows on the sides of the head, and a triangle of cornrows bordered by small knotless braids at the top front of the head (see pictures below).

They’re called ‘flip over’ Fulani braids because you can flip the knotless braids located between the cornrows to either side of your head to style your hair in different ways.
